CANVA’S NEWEST AI TOOL

5 Things to Know About Canva Brush

Canva’s new AI model edits designs with a single prompt — here’s what matters.

WHAT IT DOES

It Edits, Not Generates

Canva Brush edits existing designs from text prompts instead of creating new images from scratch.

HOW IT WORKS

It Writes Code To Edit

Canva Brush writes small code changes, checks the result, then adjusts again until it’s right.

THE NUMBERS

69% Faster, 46% Cheaper

Canva says Brush edits designs up to 69% faster and 46% cheaper than its last design agent.

AVAILABILITY

Beta For Canva Pro Only

Brush launched October 29, 2026 in beta, open now to Canva Pro subscribers only.

THE CATCH

Not Everything Stays Editable

Early testers found Brush doesn’t guarantee every element in a design stays editable.
